leroy wardJ. LeRoy Ward, Executive Vice President, is ESI’s head of Product Strategy and Management and international partnerships. Complementing a 17-year career with four U.S. federal agencies, Mr. Ward joined ESI in 1991 as Director of the Information Technology Project Management Program. He has delivered project management programs to ESI clients nationally and internationally in North America, Europe, Asia, and Australia.

Mr. Ward has served on the adjunct faculties of The George Washington University and The American University presenting courses in remote sensing, cartography, computer systems management and information systems.

He has authored numerous articles and publications including the Dictionary of Project Management Terms (3rd ed.); the PMP® Exam Practice Test and Study Guide; and with Ginger Levin, the PMP® Challenge! and the PgMP® Exam Practice Test and Study Guide; a set of audio CDs entitled Conversations on Passing the PMP® Exam (with Carl Pritchard); and, ProjectFRAMEWORK, a Project Management Maturity Model (with multiple authors). His articles have appeared in the fields of project management and adult learning including PMNetwork, Chief Learning Officer, and Project Manager Today (U.K.). He speaks frequently on project management and related topics at professional association meetings and conferences around the world.

Mr. Ward holds BS and MS degrees from Southern Connecticut State University in geography and cartography and an MSTM degree, with distinction, in computer systems management from The American University, where he was inducted into Phi Alpha Alpha, the National Honorary Society for Public Affairs and Administration. He is an alumnus of the General Services Administration’s Trail Boss Program (for major systems acquisitions) and the Federal Executive Institute.

Mr. Ward is a member of several technical societies including the American Society of Training and Development, the International Project Management Association, and the Project Management Institute (PMI). A PMI member since 1990, Mr. Ward has volunteered on many committees and currently sits on the certification committee board for PMI’s OPM3 ProductSuite (Organizational Project Management Maturity Model). He is certified by PMI as a Project Management Professional (PMP®-Number 431) and a Program Management Professional (PgMP®).

nancy neeNancy Nee, PMP, CBAP, CSM, Executive Director, Project Management & Business Analysis Programmes, ESI International, guides clients in the development and implementation of learning programmes customised to their specific needs. Her solutions reflect the insight of almost two decades of PM and BA experience in healthcare, information technology, financial services and energy.

A recognised expert in Agile PM and SCRUM, Nancy also brings strong experience in strategic enterprise architecture, project governance, business process analysis, continuous process improvement and automated solutions to her engagements. In addition to customising learning programmes, Nancy counsels senior management though workshops and coaching to help build overall organisational capability and maturity.

As an ESI subject matter expert and globally recognised thought leader, Nancy speaks at professional worldwide, including Project Management Institute (PMI®) Global Congress and ProjecWorld®/WorldCongress for Business Analysts®. She also serves as an ESI media spokesperson and has authored several professional articles.

Prior to joining ESI, Nancy served as Project Management Office Director for a major financial services organisation and business software and hardware organisation. She has also held key positions with Allegiance Healthcare, Cerner Corporation and Cardinal Healthcare.

Nancy is an active member of PMI®, the International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA®) and the ScrumAlliance®. She holds a master’s from DePaul University in Chicago, IL.

raed haddadRaed Haddad, Senior Vice President of Global Delivery Services, is responsible for ensuring consistent, high-quality delivery of ESI International’s products and services to its clients around the world and leveraging best-in-class technology and automation to enhance ESI’s business processes. His key areas of focus include increasing ESI’s ability to fulfill global client engagements and creating new strategies that set ESI apart from the competition, especially around consulting and professional services solutions that complement ESI’s training interventions.

Previous to this role, Mr. Haddad had been Senior Vice President of Client Programmes, where his responsibilities included worldwide execution of ESI’s programmes, maintaining client satisfaction, and leveraging ESI's training and consulting solutions to meet the clients' performance objectives.

When Mr. Haddad joined ESI in 1997, he worked with clients on course customisation/development and instructed various project management curricula to practicing professionals and executive audiences around the world. Over the past 22 years, he has had extensive first-hand project management experience with numerous U.S. and international corporations and government agencies. He speaks frequently on project management and related topics at professional association meetings and conferences around the world. As a professorial lecturer at The George Washington University, he teaches graduate-level courses in project management, programme management and related fields, cost/schedule and quality control, and decision-making techniques.

Prior to joining ESI, Mr. Haddad was responsible for planning, funding, scheduling and tracking various commercial development programmes. He has also consulted for a multitude of public and private sector clients in project management applications, MIS and design/automation of decision support systems.

Mr. Haddad received his bachelor's degree in civil and environmental engineering and his master's degree in engineering from the University of Rhode Island. He also holds a master's degree in engineering administration in project management (management information systems) from The George Washington University, where he has been a doctoral candidate in engineering management/MIS.

jonathan gilbertJonathan Gilbert has more than 20 years of experience as entrepreneur, educator, chief executive officer, construction manager, management consultant, project manager, and engineer. In 1975, he began his career as a project engineer and construction manager, designing, building, and operating environmental treatment facilities. This experience enabled him to teach value engineering and project management to engineering and construction professionals throughout the United States.

In 1982, Mr Gilbert changed his career focus by joining the Fails Management Institute, a management consultancy firm focusing on the construction and engineering industry. In this capacity, he consulted with the leaders of construction organisations to improve their quality, efficiency, and profitability. From 1985 to 1989, Mr Gilbert owned and operated a consulting firm dedicated initially to improving project management capabilities for real estate developers. As environmental awareness re-emerged in the late 1980’s, the focus on the firm included assisting environmental consulting firms to position themselves for the changes occurring in the environmental marketplace.

In 1989, Mr. Gilbert joined Scott, Madden and Associates to consult with regulated utilities throughout the country. From 1992-1997, Mr. Gilbert was a principal of the INNOVA Group, where he developed and conducted management and organisation development programmes to a wide variety of clients in the construction, energy, insurance, computer, and telecommunications industries.

Mr. Gilbert earned his B.S. in Civil Engineering from the University of Maryland at College Park, concentrating in project/construction management and environmental engineering. He is certified as a Project Management Professional by the Project Management Institute.

james foremanJames H. Foreman, an instructor with ESI International, is also Vice President of Client Solutions at ESI. His responsibilities centre on design and development of client performances improvement programmes: he is the executive agent for the definition and development of ESI’s Sourcing and vendor Management programme as well as the developer of ESI’s Project Management Executive Workshop.

Previously he was Vice President of the ESI Consulting Division, where his responsibilities included division strategic planning, product and service definition, and executive facilitation for client engagements. Earlier, Mr Foreman was Vice President of IBM Programmes for ESI, the largest corporate training programme in ESI’s long history.

Mr Foreman has provided project management training and consulting services to numerous Fortune 500 companies and government agencies. He has also provided information technology and information management consulting services and project and programme management to government and industry for more than 30 years.

Mr Foreman has long experience in the area of strategic planning for information management and the information system life cycle. He also has extensive business process reengineering expertise, especially at the strategic organisational levels.

Mr Foreman speaks frequently on the subject of project management at conferences and seminars around the world. He is a former president of the board of directors of the International School of Stuttgart, Germany. He has a B.S. from Yale University and is also certified as a Project Management Professional by the Project Management Institute.

glenn bruleGlenn Brûlé, Director of Client Solutions for ESI International, has more than 18 years of experience in many facets of business, including project management, business analysis, software design and facilitation. At ESI, he is responsible for supporting a global team of business consultants working with Fortune 1000 organisations.

Glenn's background as an educator, communicator and business consultant has served him well through his many client engagements. These engagements have focused on understanding, diagnosing and providing workable business solutions to complex problems across various industries, including financial services, manufacturing, pharmaceutical, insurance and automotive, as well as government agencies

In addition to his position at ESI, Glenn is a founding member and serves as a Director at Large for the International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA). Glenn’s primary responsibility is to form local chapters of the IIBA around the world by working with volunteers from such countries as Italy, India, Singapore, China, Japan, Germany, and the Czech Republic to name a few.

Glenn is a frequent speaker at professional association meetings and conference around the world, including ProjectWorld/World Congress for Business Analysts and IIBA events. Glenn has authored numerous articles on business analysis and was instrumental in the development of two ESI white papers: "Eight Things Your Business Analysts Need to Know—A Practical Approach to Building and Improving Competencies" and "Establishing and Maturing a Business Analysis Centre of Excellence—the Essential Guide".
